Please read them carefully as they affect your rights and liabilities under the law. If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions and/or our Privacy Policy, please do not create and account or use the Soozeedee Gemmology web site. Please note that to shop at the Soozeedee Gemmology web site, you are required to create an account as an authorised account holder on the site.

General:
Every purchase you make shall be deemed performed in the UK. UK law shall govern every aspect of contractual agreement concerning purchases made from Soozeedee Gemmology.

No Order will be deemed to constitute a contract of sale irrespective of the manner of its transmission to the Seller until the Order has been dispatched by the Seller. We will confirm that the Order has been dispatched by a Dispatch Confirmation email. This confirmation email amounts to an acceptance by Soozeedee Gemmology of your offer to buy goods from us. The seller may contact the buyer to advise that we do not accept an order for reasons such as; the goods are no longer available, we are not allowed to sell the goods to buyer according to laws in the country of the buyer’s shipping address, the number of goods the buyer is attempting to purchase is too great, there has been a mistake made on the pricing or description of the goods, or if the seller is unable to receive payment from the buyer or the buyers payment has not been authorised.
Import Duties:
If your delivery address is outside of the UK, you may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. Any such additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by the Buyer. You should note that customs policies vary widely from country to country; Soozeedee Gemmology advises each customer to contact their local customs office for further information. Please note that when shipping products internationally, you should be aware that cross-border shipments are subject to opening and inspection by customs authorities.

Prices:
All prices are displayed and payable in British Pounds (GBP).

The price payable shall be that displayed at the time of ordering. Soozeedee Gemmology does not endorse nor in any way guarantee the credentials or accuracy of any currency conversion for purchases made outside of the UK.

Postage and Shipping Costs:
To Mainland UK ONLY: A flat postage and shipping charge of £2.95 will apply to all jewellery under 500grams in total (including multiple item purchases), multiple jewellery purchases over 500grams may incur higher postage charges. Gemstone and crystal goods listed on the Soozeedee Gemmology website under 500grams incur a flat postage and shipping charge of £2.95 and for purchase weighing over 500grams postage and shipping will individually determined according to value and current postal charges. However the customer may wish to purchase specialist delivery and insurance of larger items and/or high value items and these costs may be negotiated directly with Soozeedee Gemmology at the time order confirmation.

Soozeedee Gemmology uses Royal Mail and other courier services for delivery and any additional delivery charges, that may be agreed with the customer at the time of order confirmation, are in accordance with their standard rates (which are subject to change).

Payment:
Payment is due at the time of order. Goods remain the property Soozeedee Gemmology until the order is fully paid for.

All payments are processed through our payment service provider PAYPAL.
Delivery:
The Seller shall not be held liable for any losses, expenses or consequential loss incurred by the Buyer or any other person or company however arising whether directly or indirectly out of a failure of the Buyer to provide an accurate delivery address.

The Buyer will be notified by (Dispatch Confirmation) email once the order has been dispatched.
Missed Delivery:
If you have missed a delivery you should follow the instructions left by the courier service, Soozeedee Gemmology cannot take responsibility for missed deliveries or delivered made and left unattended.
Refunds Policy:
You must contact Soozeedee Gemmology within 48 hours of receipt of Goods if you wish to return part or all of your Order and have the right to cancel your purchase within 14 days. Please note that a refund will only be provided if the goods you wish to return are received by Soozeedee Gemmology and are undamaged. If your item was received damaged, you must send photographic evidence with your initial advice.

Colour Reproduction - Please note that we try our hardest to reproduce the colours of the goods. However, this is not always possible and the colours may differ slightly.
Buyer Perceived Imperfections – Please note that unlike man-made goods which you may otherwise expect to meet standards of ‘perfection’, gem material is a product of mother nature and often comes with mother nature’s signature inclusions and variations of form, shape and colour which ought not be viewed as ‘imperfections’, and in any case will not be accepted as reasons for the return under the heading of ‘damaged’ goods.
Should you wish to return goods because you are unhappy with the colour or the gemmological traits of a gem material that you perceive as an imperfection, you may return that product to us for a full refund but are liable for the cost of safe return to Soozeedee Gemmology. The buyer is responsible for organising the return of goods. For larger or high value items it is strongly advised that the buyer obtain sufficient insurance and an appropriate tracked return method of return in case of loss or damage. Goods that are returned damaged or are lost enroute cannot be refunded by Soozeedee Gemmology.

Returned Goods:
Notification of damage, of wrongly shipped Goods or incomplete shipped Goods must be made within 48 hours of delivery. Damaged goods and or packaging should be photographed and the photograph emailed to Soozeedee Gemmology. We strongly advise that you formally complain to the Courier at the time of delivery should you be presented with damaged packing. Any claim made outside of 14 days will not be accepted.

Returned Goods must be in resalable condition and in their original packaging. Seals should be intact where appropriate.

The Buyer must obtain a proof of posting certificate (or country equivalent) from Royal Mail or equivalent postal service.

Returned Goods should be returned to us within 14 days of receipt of delivery. Any Goods returned after the 14 day period will be subject to a 30% restocking fee. No refunds will be issued for goods returned after 28 days. We must be able to resell goods in as new condition. Any goods where packaging has been damaged and therefore rendered un-resalable will not be refunded.
Damaged Returns:
The Buyer will be liable for the cost of returned Goods where such damage has in the opinion of the Seller been caused by the Goods being inadequately packaged by the Buyer.
Warranty:
Crystals, minerals and fossils displayed for sale by Soozeedee Gemmology are sold as seen and can often be very delicate, brittle and contain natural flaws due to their inherent nature. Crystals, minerals and fossils may also alter colour or structure over time. Buyers should be aware of this when adding to their collections.

Other products sold by Soozeedee Gemmology are guaranteed against defects in material and workmanship for a period of one year. Please note we cannot accept responsibility for damage resulting from misuse. Handmade jewellery purchased from Soozeedee Gemmology may discolour or tarnish if not stored or cared for appropriately. Buyers are advised to store jewellery in clean, dry conditions and not to expose jewellery to

The Sellers failure to insist upon strict adherence to any of the terms and conditions with this contract shall not be deemed a waiver of its rights within these terms and conditions.
Legal Liability:
The contracts from the sales of goods by Soozeedee Gemmology shall be subject to and governed by English law.

Liability of Soozeedee Gemmology shall in no circumstance exceed the original value of the price charged for the goods. Soozeedee Gemmology cannot accept liability for injury or negative consequence of using the products it sells.
Acceptance Of Terms:
By placing an Order with Soozeedee Gemmology the Buyer is agreeing to be bound by the Sellers terms and conditions.

This does not affect your statutory rights as a customer.
Miscellaneous:
We shall have no liability to you for any delay in the delivery of products ordered or any other matters to the extent that the delay is due to any event outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, pandemic, war, flood, fire, labour disputes, strikes, lock-outs, riots, civil commotion, malicious damage, explosion, governmental actions and any other similar events.

We shall have no liability (including liability for negligence) for the acts or omissions of telecommunications service providers or for failures of, or faults in their networks and equipment.

No waiver by us of any breach of these Terms shall be considered as a waiver of any subsequent breach of the same or any other provision.

You may not permit, create unauthorized framing of, or deep linking to, this Site or the creation of derivative works thereof from any other website under your management or control.

In these Terms, Intellectual Property Rights means patents, database rights, copyright, design rights (whether registered or unregistered), trade marks (whether registered or unregistered) and other similar rights, together with the right to apply for the protection of any such rights. All Intellectual Property Rights in the Site shall be owned by us absolutely.

Subject to the licence granted to you to use the Site, Soozeedee Gemmology reserves all rights, title and interest in its Intellectual Property Rights in the Site. Any goodwill accruing from use of Soozeedee Gemmology trade marks, trade and business names and service marks under this Agreement will vest in Soozeedee Gemmology, as appropriate.

Anyone caught willfully entering an erroneous or fictitious account or order will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Soozeedee Gemmology tracks the electronic fingerprints of every order placed on Soozeedee Gemmology to enable us and all legitimate crime prevention and prosecution authorities to trace individual users engaging in criminal activities on our website. We reserve the right to delete fictious orders without notice.
Terms And Conditions Amendments:
Soozeedee Gemmology may amend these Terms from time to time, and place the new version on the Site. For users purchasing goods or registering on the Site for the first time, all purchases from the date that the amended terms are placed on our website onwards will be governed by those new terms. Otherwise, such changes will be effective against existing users thirty days following posting of the amended version on the Site. Your continued use of the Site following Soozeedee Gemmology posting of any changes will constitute your acceptance of such changes. If you do not agree to any changes to these Terms, then your only remedy is to cease using the Site.

These Terms supersede any and all other conditions, understandings, commitments, agreements or representations (except fraudulent misrepresentations) relating to your purchase, whether oral or in writing, and contain the entire agreement between Soozeedee Gemmology and you relating to your purchase. Soozeedee Gemmology advises that you print off and keep safe a copy of these terms and conditions once your order has been accepted by Soozeedee Gemmology. We will store a copy of the contract entered into by you with Soozeedee Gemmology. You are advised to read (and are responsible for reading) fully all information on this website.

If any provision of these Terms shall be held by any competent authority to be invalid or unenforceable in whole or in part, the validity of the remaining parts of these Terms and the remainder of the affected provision shall be unaffected.
Complaints Or Queries:
Soozeedee Gemmology tries to meet the highest standards in online trading. For this reason, we take any complaints we receive about our services very seriously. We encourage people to bring it to our attention if they think that our services, products or terms and conditions are unfair, misleading or inappropriate. We would also welcome any suggestions for improving our procedures.
